About the position
The Logistics Management Analyst will work with the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) on Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) Program Integration Office (PIO) activities. This role involves providing logistics management expertise, tracking logistics actions, and serving as the primary action officer for various logistics activities at the installation. The analyst will also be responsible for developing guidance, providing briefings, and coordinating with other offices to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistics management subject matter expertise to liaise between HQ AFGSC staff and PIO.
- Track logistics bed-down actions weekly and communicate issues to PIO leadership.
- Serve as primary Action Officer for materiel management, transportation, and maintenance bed-down activities.
- Write, develop, and publish guidance on logistics bed-down initiatives.
- Provide briefings, papers, reports, and documentation on logistics activities.
- Provide technical and programmatic logistic support as requested by AFGSC/A5F.
- Coordinate with base Wing Plans & Scheduling Office to plan and review Wing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with five years of ICBM logistics, maintenance, and/or sustainment experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Security Clearance Required: Top Secret.
