Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the incorporation of climate and equity issues in logistics planning and execution.
• Manage and execute a wide range of complex logistics operations for disaster planning, response, and recovery.
• Participate in activities ensuring accurate property accountability, including receipt, inventory, issue, and disposition of disaster support property and equipment.
• Conduct research and analyze plans, policies, and procedures related to regional logistical support requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government.
• Knowledge of equitable distribution of resources and services in diverse socio-economic environments.
• Experience in developing and coordinating organizational plans.
• Understanding of climate change data, trends, impacts, and projections related to logistics.
