About the position

The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for evaluating outfitting support functions to ensure readiness and proper support for the Fleet. This role involves establishing goals, designing responsibilities, and interpreting impacts on overarching programs related to outfitting. The specialist will also support working groups to resolve supply support issues and manage logistics analysis for systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate outfitting support functions to ensure proper support identification and readiness for the Fleet.
• Establish goals and design responsibilities related to outfitting support.
• Support various working groups to discuss and resolve supply support issues.
• Develop and manage reports and metrics using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for NAVSEA stakeholders.
• Provide logistics analysis of systems and equipment to ensure proper logistics support is planned or in place.
• Adhere to and promote proper allowance, provisioning, and configuration standards through training and policy development.
• Manage all facets of High Value requisitions, Allowance Keeper, Outfitting Metrics, or Allowance Equipage List provisioning efforts.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Experience analyzing logistics data for allowances, provisioning, and configuration to provide logistics support on all projects.
