About the position

This position is with the US Army, specifically within the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) at the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) - Soldier & Chemical Biological Research and Support Directorate (ILSC-Soldier & C/B), Soldier Division. The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for managing assigned areas of the logistics program, which includes operations and activities related to depot maintenance, national maintenance, maintenance production, and asset management for the Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) ILSC, a National Inventory Control Point (NICP). The role involves overseeing logistics requirements for various TACOM-managed systems, such as field kitchens, laundries, airdrop equipment, shelters, and chemical and biological equipment. The incumbent will monitor and coordinate plans, policies, and asset management aspects for all TACOM-managed reparable assets. This includes managing maintenance requirements and functions for new material fielding and all modification work orders (MWO) to be applied to TACOM-managed equipment, as well as resolving a variety of complex logistics problems. The Logistics Management Specialist will serve as the primary liaison for the ILSC with representatives from other functional directorates, the DoD Logistics Community, the Army Logistics Community, and the AMC commodity commands. This position requires a strong understanding of integrated logistics support programs and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience managing and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support Programs.
  • Experience organizing or chairing Integrated Logistics Support Management or Integrated Product Teams.
  • Ability to assist in the development or execution of support plans and requirements.
  • Experience utilizing automated logistic systems.
