About the position

The Startup Operation members (SET Ops) serve as setup consultants, managing all aspects of new Dedicated Transportation Solutions business startups and providing ongoing support to Field Operations. This role involves training drivers and managers on system operations, prioritizing tasks, and engaging in process documentation and system testing. Extensive travel is required, with assignments to new business locations across the country.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant for new Dedicated Transportation Solutions business startups.
• Provide ongoing support to Field Operations.
• Train drivers and managers on core operations and systems.
• Ensure compliance with customer critical success factors during startup phases.
• Build out process flows and guide consistency in operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field required.
• Two or more years of experience managing and leading direct reports required.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations required.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of driver route tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage Profit & Loss statements may be necessary depending on the complexity and scope of the operation.
