About The Position

The Logistics Manager (Travel and Events) at Vibrant Emotional Health is responsible for overseeing and planning all travel and events for the 988 team. This role involves collaboration with various teams to organize in-person meetings, trainings, and conferences, while directly managing a future Coordinator of Travel and Event Logistics. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Interest in mental health/suicide prevention and familiarity with the nonprofit sector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 988 event coordination, including planning and organizing committee meetings, conferences, and trainings.
  • Contract with travel-related vendors and book travel arrangements.
  • Schedule logistics between multiple organizations and manage catering and ground transportation needs.
  • Develop budget proposals for events and assist with outreach for speakers and participants.
  • Provide event support by creating folders on shared drives, providing templates for meeting materials, and producing agendas.
  • Process reimbursements and expense reports, and develop an understanding of the internal system, Kissflow.
  • Support event-related budget tracking to ensure expenditures align with existing grants.
  • Connect weekly with the Director of Cross Functional Planning to share progress and brainstorm solutions.
  • Engage in professional development activities, such as DEIB trainings.
