About The Position

The Logistics Manager at Sierra Nevada Corporation is responsible for overseeing the movement of materials through the production and inventory process. This role involves ensuring accurate inventory controls, managing government furnished materials, and facilitating on-time deliveries. The Logistics Manager will also assist with troubleshooting issues related to receiving and kitting, while maintaining a focus on successful program execution and product life cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study
  • Understanding of ITAR regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods
  • Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems
  • Experience with the practical application of Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
  • Ability to travel extensively, often overseas
  • Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials
  • Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
  • Current Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility required
