About the position

The Logistics Manager at Astrion is responsible for overseeing logistics management operations to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate. This role involves planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions required for various programs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet program needs. The position is based at Tinker AFB, OK, and requires an active US security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance and life cycle logistics plans.
  • Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans.
  • Coordinate and evaluate efforts of functional specialists to meet requirements on time.
  • Perform clerical/administrative/office operations support.
  • Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics.
  • Assist with planning, evaluation, and implementation of program acquisition and sustainment strategies.
  • Develop program management documentation for acquisition and sustainment life cycle.
  • Develop briefings for acquisition decision milestones and sustainment planning efforts.
  • Provide logistics inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Assist with development of program office estimates and financial reports.
  • Develop logistics planning documents including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans and Integrated Logistics Support Plans.
  • Support development of system technical trade studies and documentation for integration and modification efforts.
  • Assist with Capability Based Assessments and associated documentation.
  • Maintain Requirements Traceability and develop required reports and analyses.
  • Employ CBA data visualization tools for gap analysis in CBA development.
  • Support development of Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter documentation and related plans.
  • Assist with development of initial planning products and assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 7 years work experience, with 3 years on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired.
  • Strong clerical/administrative/office operations support skills.
  • Background in DoD 5000.2.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Active US security clearance.
