About the position

The Logistics Manager will lead logistics procurement strategies and develop strategic partnerships with carriers to drive the company's commercial strategy. This role involves creating a logistics network that aligns with the company's strategic needs, executing logistics contracting strategies, and managing supplier relationships. The manager will also track and forecast spending, oversee sourcing activities, and analyze market trends to support operational needs, particularly in delivering materials for frac locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics procurement strategies and develop strategic partner carriers.
• Drive the commercial strategy of the company.
• Create a logistics network to meet strategic needs regarding costs, footprints, services, and locations.
• Develop and execute logistics contracting strategies for all scopes of logistics.
• Maintain accountability for contract and supplier management post-contract execution.
• Track, report, and forecast spend related to relevant categories.
• Oversee complex category-specific sourcing activities.
• Perform market analysis to articulate trends impacting stakeholders.
• Develop strategies to ensure access to materials and delivery of sand to frac locations.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in logistics management.
• 3 years of experience in international logistics for EPC projects.
• Experience developing negotiation strategies and conducting supplier negotiations.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong supply chain background interacting with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Experience procuring logistics services for the Oil & Gas or EPC industry.
• Track record of strategic initiative development and management.
• Strong networking and communication skills.
