About the position

The Logistics Manager at Resident will oversee the product flow and orders through the supply chain, focusing on minimizing delays, managing inventory, and enhancing delivery speed. This role is crucial for optimizing supply chain performance and involves leading cross-functional projects, generating data-driven insights, and conducting financial analyses for process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, prioritizing and allocating resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement tools to monitor supply chain performance and assess risks to optimize performance.
  • Leverage data to generate actionable insights and influence strategic alignment with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate potential shipment delays to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Conduct independent financial analysis for investments and process improvements, building strong business cases.
  • Manage cross-site communications and align stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are met.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms and take data-driven actions to address non-compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in an operational or logistics role, preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, particularly in managing inbound container flows.
  • 2+ years working in analytical roles with advanced spreadsheet skills and SQL/GPQ experience.
  • Proficient understanding of order flow and EDI/API transactions for the entire purchase order lifecycle.
  • Basic understanding of different modes of transportation, including parcel, white glove, LTL and TL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to domestic and international warehouses.
