About the position

As a Logistics Manager at ManTech, you will play a crucial role in supporting our national security initiatives while working in a dynamic and diverse environment. This position is based in either Catonsville or College Park, Maryland, and is integral to the success of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive logistics support, which includes identifying, bar-coding, tracking, and classifying equipment. Your expertise will be essential in creating and maintaining logistics documentation, conducting thorough equipment inventories, and ensuring that we maintain 100% accountability of all equipment. In this role, you will also oversee the proper storage and handling of equipment spares, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and are easily accessible when needed. You will coordinate with vendors for the return and/or repair of any failed or degraded equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to manage these logistics processes will be vital in supporting our mission and ensuring that we meet our contractual obligations to the U.S. Government. To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong background in logistics management, particularly in the context of U.S. Government classified contracts. Familiarity with U.S. Government procurement and acquisition processes is essential, as is direct experience with procedures for equipment transfer. Excellent communication and writing skills are necessary to effectively document and report on logistics activities, and you must be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in logistics management for U.S. Government classified contracts
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government procurement and acquisition processes and procedures
  • Direct experience with U.S. Government procedures for equipment transfer
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph
