About the position

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the overall logistics plan and strategy for US operations, focusing on delivering competitive and affordable logistics services. This role involves identifying local logistics capabilities, developing logistics strategies, and implementing standardized logistics processes, systems, and technology. A successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of upstream Oil and Gas logistics categories and experience in creating sustainable value through cost savings and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics procurement strategies.
  • Identify and develop strategic partner carriers.
  • Drive the commercial strategy for logistics categories.
  • Create a logistics network to meet the company's strategic needs.
  • Develop and execute logistics contracting strategies.
  • Maintain accountability for contract and supplier management.
  • Track, report, and forecast spend related to logistics categories.
  • Oversee complex category-specific sourcing strategies.
  • Perform market analysis to articulate market trends affecting logistics strategies.
  • Develop a strategy for material access and delivery to frac locations.
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost savings programs.
  • Develop Supply Chain Logistics Management policy & procedures for compliance.
  • Serve as a commercial and technical subject matter expert in logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of logistics management experience, with at least 3 years in international logistics for EPC projects.
  • Proven record in developing negotiation strategies and conducting supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Strong supply chain background with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.
