About the position

The Logistics Manager at Eagle Foods is responsible for overseeing all physical distribution operations and costs within the El Paso market, including the plant and overflow warehouse. This role focuses on logistics planning, inventory control, and managing the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to budgetary constraints. The position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure timely execution of sales orders and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all physical distribution operations and costs in the El Paso market.
• Manage inbound inventory move transactions in Infor M3 and logistics planning at the plant.
• Oversee plant receiving operations, inventory control, and line delivery activities.
• Develop and track the annual warehouse budget for the plant and overflow warehouse.
• Manage the plant warehouse team and their performance in scheduling and receipt of inbound materials.
• Establish 5S expectations for the warehouse area and ensure compliance.
• Perform inventory control audits and oversee the inventory control process for the plant and overflow warehouse.
• Coordinate with customer service, production, and distribution to ensure timely execution of sales orders.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and streamline transportation procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Materials Management required.
• 5-7 years' experience in logistics/warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience working with good manufacturing principles (GMPs) and hazard analysis critical control points (HACCPs).
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
