About the position

The Logistics Manager at goodwipes is responsible for managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure timely and complete deliveries from warehouses to retail customers. This role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining order tracking, and assisting the Director of Supply Chain with logistics and inventory management tasks. The position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires a proactive and organized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture the day-to-day operational relationship between goodwipes and its retail customers.
  • Manage all day-to-day 3PL operations including freight-in receipts and freight-out.
  • Maintain order trackers and OTIF scorecards to ensure high retailer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain 3PL inventory reports to manage on-hand and in-transit inventory.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of EDI transactions with all major customers.
  • Assist Director, Supply Chain and VP, eCommerce with Amazon platform logistics.
  • Assist Director, Supply Chain with freight-in operations and truck tracking across the freight-in and freight-out network.
  • Create and manage internal reports for key 3PL costs such as storage costs, picking costs, and freight out costs.
  • Assist with retailer setups, item creation, and manufacturing setups between supply chain and commercial department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (emphasis in business or supply chain management preferred).
  • 1-3+ years experience in supply chain logistics (at a CPG emerging brand preferred).
  • A highly organized and analytical individual who thrives on bringing order and rigor to processes.
  • Basic understanding of the consumer packaged goods logistics environment.
  • Experience with domestic 3PL management and basic experience in freight forwarding.
  • Experience with key grocery and mass retail customers and their operational processes.
  • Moderate Excel skills and high attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing reports to be easily updated for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Familiar with S&OP processes and basic inventory management.
  • High EQ and ability to effectively communicate with various partners.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, juggling multiple projects.
