About the position

Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to help take part in building autonomous tractors. The position requires being responsible for all logistic tasks related to the assembly line and operations. This role is set in a dynamic work environment that necessitates teamwork, open-mindedness, and a problem-solving orientation. The position is based in Reedley, CA, and involves physical work, which means that candidates should be prepared for hands-on tasks as well as managerial responsibilities. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics tasks associated with the assembly line and operations. This includes occasionally supporting the assembly line with mechanical mechanisms, electronic devices, and wiring. You will perform your work in accordance with all safety procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with company corporate requirements related to safety. It is essential to work safely in accordance with the company's safety program requirements and to wear all the required personal protective equipment. Your responsibilities will also include managing and supervising the Shipping and Receiving Departments in a controlled, organized, and professional manner. You will coordinate logistics activities for selected projects, which encompasses logistics planning, training, and supply chain activities from the point of manufacturing through to support, deployment, freight, warehousing, customer freight, order management, and customer store shipment. Identifying logistics issues and providing leadership in developing solutions, such as reallocating resources or modifying manufacturing or supply chain processes, will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will manage the development and implementation of annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for logistics activities, participating in the development of overall unit, division, and group objectives. Maintaining the strict confidentiality of sensitive information is crucial, as is managing the development and implementation of business processes and procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. You will also contribute to the preparation and dissemination of information to senior leadership, work with the procurement manager abroad, and provide support to multiple locations. Regularly reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly achievement of KPIs and reporting variances will be part of your responsibilities, along with analyzing logistics data to identify and predict deviations from processes, making procedural changes to enhance efficiency or correct inefficiencies within the logistics systems.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in logistics management or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
