About the position

The Logistics Manager at CGB Enterprises, Inc. is responsible for implementing strategies and processes to optimize the logistics network and operations. This role involves overseeing inventory, distribution, and transportation operations to meet organizational goals and ensure customer satisfaction. The manager will utilize analytics to monitor performance and compliance with regulations governing the transportation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and execution of assigned program(s).
• Maintain and establish new relationships with customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure understanding of the requirements of shareholders for quality, commodity safety, volume, and purity.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage product inventory to keep production running, increase dump quantity, and minimize dump times.
• Provide timely communication to various departments regarding commodity positions, loading obligations, and schedules.
• Coordinate and set expectations for the assigned commodity process.
• Oversee staffing activities including hiring, training, performance management, and terminations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 3 years of related working industry experience.
• Working knowledge of finance, accounting, and contracts.
• Working knowledge of barge loading and railcar operations.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for market analysis and business decision-making.
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
