As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the logistics function and related activities within our plants. This role is crucial in managing daily operations within the plant's logistics function, ensuring efficient material flow and storage, coordinating with production schedules, and maintaining cost-effective operations. You will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to the handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products in the plants. In this position, you will manage and direct staff, overseeing hiring, rotation processes, and training and certification processes. Collaboration with the Business Unit Material & Scheduling Management (MSM) team is essential to ensure that scheduling, replenishment, and material management activities for the plant are completed effectively. You will provide input to the BU MSM regarding scheduling information and direct materials management, inventory, and FIFO processes. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement projects through loss identification and coordinate finished goods inventory, inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and transportation activities in line with delivery schedules. Your role will also involve coordinating and supervising warehousing procedures and providing technical support on material handling, storage, usage, and equipment performance. We are looking for a leader who can attract, cultivate, and retain high-performing diverse teams, demonstrating success in leading and collaborating across the supply chain. Knowledge of SAP software for supply chain management is essential, as is experience in developing and implementing supply chain improvements. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the logistics function and related activities in the plants.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain and/or logistics and related topics.
  • 2 years of leadership experience with a strong emphasis on overseeing logistics operations.
  • Successful at attracting, cultivating, and retaining diverse high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and collaborating across the supply chain.
  • Knowledge of SAP software for supply chain management.
  • Experience developing and implementing supply chain improvements.
  • Ability to build high-performing teams and effectively coach team members.
