About the position

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing all logistics operations, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves developing a reliable logistics network to facilitate efficient product flow and timely delivery of goods, while also performing profitability analysis and implementing strategies for optimal inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the implementation of all logistics operations, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop a reliable logistics network to facilitate efficient product flow and timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Perform logistics profitability analysis and suggest cost-effective solutions mapping to growth strategy.
• Implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and logistics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
• Develop constructive, efficient relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Previous experience of 5+ years in a logistic function within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient knowledge of supply chain management and prevailing industry trends.
• Exceptional ability to lead and manage staff.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in evaluating logistical situations and making sound strategic decisions.
• Excellent understanding of customer service.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
