About the position

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Manager in Indianapolis, IN for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position is crucial for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts, which includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations, and safety. The Warehouse Manager will oversee both salaried and hourly employees, resolving performance issues and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role requires collaboration with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations, ensuring that the account operates to meet those demands. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for payroll, analyzing weekly and monthly P&L statements to assess account profitability, and providing financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management. The role also includes managing accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing. Safety is a top priority, and the Warehouse Manager will hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The position requires a flexible schedule, as additional days and hours may be needed to support operational and client needs. The Warehouse Manager will also perform other duties as assigned, making adaptability and strong leadership skills essential for success in this role. This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000, along with a 10% bonus eligibility, and is exempt from overtime pay. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 4:30 pm to 2:30 am, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees, resolving performance issues and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations, operating the account to meet those demands.
  • Be responsible for the payroll of employees.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to determine account profitability and provide financial data and weekly operations reports to senior management.
  • Manage accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.
  • Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations advanced required.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements advanced required.
