About the position

As a Logistics Manager at SNC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Field Site Manager by overseeing the movement of various materials through our production and inventory processes. This includes raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, and finished goods. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials, which is essential for executing successful programs and managing product life cycles. You will assist in troubleshooting potential receiving and kitting issues while tracking production and material deficiencies to maintain focus on timely deliveries through our material management system. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area, where you will be working, is dedicated to providing affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long-standing legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and various commercial and international customers. With years of experience in platform operations, engineering, and full lifecycle management across multiple domains—air, land, sea, space, and cyber—you will be part of a team that is committed to excellence and innovation in logistics management. In this role, you will be expected to maintain accurate inventory controls, manage Government Furnished Material (GFM), ensure on-time material kit delivery, and handle shipping and receiving for both international and domestic operations. You will also assist with multiple government audits and agency surveillances, such as DCAA and DCMA, while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics framework. Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively between various departments will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Understanding of ITAR regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods
  • Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems
  • Experience with the practical application of Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
  • Ability to travel extensively, often overseas
  • Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials
  • Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
