About the position

Carestream Health is seeking a Logistics Material Handler to join our team in Rochester, NY. This position is essential to our warehouse operations, where you will be responsible for various tasks that support the manufacturing and distribution of medical convenience kits. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately. You will work from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at our facility located at 882 Linden Road, East Rochester, NY. As a Logistics Material Handler, your primary responsibilities will include light manufacturing tasks, such as the creation of kits and labels, as well as providing backup support for shipping operations. You will also be involved in transportation planning and will need to perform repetitive motions as part of your daily duties. The role requires physical stamina, as you will be bending, standing, sitting, and twisting throughout your shift. Clear communication, both verbally and in writing, is crucial, as is a basic understanding of safety requirements in a warehouse environment. To succeed in this position, you must possess a high school diploma or GED, or have at least two years of applicable experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings. We are looking for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with others. Additionally, candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background check to be considered for employment.
