About the position

As an Operations Analyst III at SNC, you will play a crucial role in analyzing logistics and supply chain data to enhance operational efficiencies. Your responsibilities will include evaluating labor efficiency, manufacturing variances, and the financial impact of production changes. You will provide detailed analysis to support project management and reporting, utilizing various data visualization and analysis tools to drive improvements in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key logistics metrics.
• Use data analytics to forecast demand and manage inventory levels more effectively.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure logistics systems are integrated with business intelligence tools.
• Provide insights from data analysis to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Implement and manage logistics software solutions to streamline operations.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• Thorough understanding of forecasting, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement, scheduling and planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Proven experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others.
• Understanding of Program Management, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management processes.
• Proven organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
