About The Position
As a Logistics Operations Analyst at Kuiper Transportation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Kuiper initiative, which aims to enhance global broadband access through a constellation of satellites. Your primary responsibilities will involve monitoring transportation activities, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performing logistics processes related to shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory management. You will be expected to work on-site daily, adhering to a flexible schedule that may include weekends, nights, and holidays, depending on business needs. In this position, you will accurately track freight forwarding and other automated system data, documenting metrics related to just-in-time and urgent shipments in a global logistics environment. You will also identify transportation exceptions and follow defined escalation processes to support Kuiper business teams. Effective communication will be key, as you will need to gather information and provide updates on cargo status during critical transportation events. Your role will require you to perform audit processes to ensure data accuracy in program dashboards and metrics, as well as represent Kuiper Transportation in communications with internal and external partners. You will work closely with logistics teams to provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to requests via telephone, email, and automated systems. Additionally, you will review SOPs and transportation maps to identify any anomalies or deviations from established processes, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
