About the position
The Logistics Operations Coordinator - Drayage and Transloading is a key member of the forwarding team, responsible for managing relationships with trucking partners, warehouse providers, and customers. This role involves booking and tracking freight, making truck load plans, assisting with charge approvals, and supporting the team in bidding for new projects and shipments. The position is based in Sandy Springs, GA, and requires on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Operate Drayage & Transload shipments in multiple markets across the US
- Provide excellent customer service with tracking, updates, and timely issue resolution
- Expand DT's carrier base by onboarding new providers in key markets
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in drayage operations mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills mandatory
- Freight Forwarding or 3PL experience preferred
- Aljex, Revenova, and/or TMS experience preferred
- CargoWise experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
