About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. This role involves managing logistics processes, ensuring efficient transportation planning, and supervising warehouse management activities, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process optimization to meet the demands of our growing business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals.
• Oversee transportation planning and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Supervise a team of logistics staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean methodologies.
• Collaborate with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to optimize shipping processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the logistics department.

Requirements

• Strong background in operations management, with a focus on logistics and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and safety protocols.
• Expertise in continuous improvement techniques, including lean principles.
• Proficient in transportation planning and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to analyze data for process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
