About the position

The Logistics/Operations Manager at Kroger Supply Chain is responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure the performance of the production process, which includes all order selection and related distribution center functions. This role is pivotal in driving results that achieve planned levels of costs and progress for the effectiveness of key performance indicators. This role also involves planning and controlling operating costs and facility budgets, managing sanitation standards, and ensuring that proper work methods are followed to maximize productivity and performance. The manager will monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements, maintaining a Customer 1st strategy that focuses on quality receiving and shipping of orders. Additionally, the manager will supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback to enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of supervision experience in Distribution.
  • Associate's degree.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to manage staffing needs, training, evaluation, and development.
  • Leadership skills that promote respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
