About the position
The Logistics/Order Selection Case position is responsible for accurately filling retail store orders while operating industrial equipment in a safe and productive manner. Responsibilities
- Fill retail store orders accurately and productively.
- Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete store order assignments according to warehouse management system methods.
- Follow voice commands or read orders to ascertain correct case numbers and quantities.
- Place selected cases on pallets and arrange them to minimize product damage.
- Wrap completed store orders and deliver them to the shipping dock.
- Comply with all department and company policies and procedures, including safety and attendance.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays regularly.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environments for long periods.
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Previous experience operating industrial equipment.
