About the position

The Logistics Performance Systems Manager at CRH Americas Materials Inc. is a pivotal role that reports directly to the VP of Logistics Performance. This position is responsible for the overall product management of enterprise-wide logistics systems, requiring a high degree of initiative and coordination. The successful candidate will lead and manage the initial implementation of logistics tools and technologies, ensuring that these systems are effectively integrated and utilized across the organization. This role demands excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional partners throughout the company. After the implementation phase, the manager will take ownership of ongoing product management and maintain relationships with these systems. Additionally, the role involves supporting various performance initiatives, conducting data analytics, and developing related training and documentation. To thrive in this fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment, the preferred candidate should possess proven project, change, and process management experience. The position requires significant travel, with expectations of up to 75% travel during system implementation phases. The Logistics Performance Systems Manager will have the opportunity to work in a highly visible role, guiding the development and implementation of logistics tools and technologies that are critical to the success of the organization. This includes collaborating with business leaders to roadmap and manage the implementation of logistics performance solutions, developing change management plans, and facilitating product enhancements to support user engagement and system optimization. The role also involves managing vendor relationships and advising stakeholders on project deliverables and business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various business leaders to roadmap and manage the implementation of enterprise logistics performance solutions across AMAT companies, ensuring successful adoption.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate change management plans.
  • Develop and/or support the creation and delivery of governance training content and the related reference documentation.
  • Coordinate and own the system maintenance planning and implementation process.
  • Facilitate product enhancements and the development of automation to support user adoption, engagement, integrations, and system optimization.
  • Keep up to date with the latest standard methodologies and integrations.
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships across the performance systems in the areas of technology, support, implementation, and business use.
  • Streamline and categorize vendors to achieve best in class systems, support, and utilization.
  • Advise and manage stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage the delivery of research, workshops, and other activities to support project deliverables.
  • Identify trends and best practices across the company based on data and insights, providing recommendations to evolve and advance business performance through system optimization.
  • Help maintain a database of logistics systems across the federation of operating companies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
  • Experience as a Program Manager with strong change management skills.
  • Technologically savvy, with a full understanding and fluency in relevant computer applications.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Systems Implementation, Product Management, Project Management, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
