About the position

The Logistics Planning Supervisor at MAHLE is responsible for overseeing the logistics department's activities and functions, ensuring that customer service ratings are met or exceeded. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service delivery within logistics operations, including vendor management and material delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day planning of logistics operations including vendor management, material delivery, and outbound shipments.
• Lead and collaborate with logistics planners to accurately plan materials with suppliers to meet customer demands.
• Benchmark and implement world-class material flow and warehouse concepts and strategies.
• Develop logistics agreements regarding pack size, order quantity, ship frequencies, and routings.
• Research and implement continuous improvement practices for inventory management.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably with material flow and automotive experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven skills in strategic implementation and department optimization.
• Extensive experience working with MRP and J-I-T principles.
• Working knowledge of ISO14001 and TS16949 standards.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
