This position also involves some light-duty audit and analytic work, which includes making outbound calls to address any detected issues. In addition to these responsibilities, the Logistics Specialist will play a crucial role in the sales process by collaborating with sales and operations teams to develop concepts and implement their designs. The position requires a strong focus on continuous improvement, where the specialist will provide proposal support, gather and analyze data, and acquire product knowledge. The role adheres to established process methodologies and involves the design and engineering of supply chain services, including network analysis, transportation, distribution management, and process management. Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user facing phone support to drivers and staff.
  • Resolve questions and respond to hours-of-service issues to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform basic analytic work and make outbound calls to address detected issues.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to develop concepts and implement designs.
  • Assist operations management with continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business required.
  • One (1) year or more of industry-related experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, write, and speak effectively.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform data gathering and analysis.
  • Capability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility to operate independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
