About the position

The Logistics Sales Operations Coordinator at Geopaq Logic plays a crucial role in supporting both the sales and operations teams. This position is designed to help achieve the company's goals by assisting with various projects aimed at developing and optimizing logistics operations for clients and prospects. The coordinator will work closely with different teams to conduct research, gather data, analyze and validate information, and design optimized supply chain models for both distribution centers and transportation. This role is essential in ensuring that the logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization. In this position, the coordinator will be responsible for identifying and analyzing internal and customer logistics data and processes, providing insights and solutions to improve operations. They will create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both internal and external business processes and will be part of the implementation task force, coordinating between sales and operations to successfully implement new business initiatives. Additionally, the coordinator will process internal procedures for new business, including Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasts and compliance requirements. Negotiation with multiple carriers and vendors to find potential cost savings and achieve shipping Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will also be a significant part of the role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations, with a focus on both international and domestic transportation and warehouse services. They will be expected to leverage their analytical skills to evaluate data and present findings effectively, ensuring that the sales and operations teams are well-supported in their efforts to optimize logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze internal and customer logistics data and processes and provide insights and solutions.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both internal and external business processes.
  • Be part of the implementation task force, coordinating between sales and operations to successfully implement new business initiatives.
  • Process internal procedures for new business, such as Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasts and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate with multiple carriers and vendors to find potential cost savings and achieve shipping Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support projects related to consulting and logistics optimization.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in operations or sales in international and domestic transportation and warehouse services.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Relevant logistics industry knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and data evaluation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Familiarity with logistics systems (Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Korean and English.
  • Transportation-related experience (operation and/or sales).
  • Experience with CAD and Sketchup for distribution center design.
