About the position
The Logistics / Sales Ops Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the processing of inbound and outbound shipments for wholesale customers and E-Commerce orders at the Long Beach distribution center. This position ensures timely order processing, addresses delays, and maintains excellent communication with the Customer Service team to uphold the company's same-day shipping promise. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience in logistics and team management.
Responsibilities
- Order allocation, processing, and routing.
- Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner every day to avoid production delays.
- Complete end-of-day processing to provide customers with shipment tracking information.
- Upload shipment tracking manually and promptly for customers requiring it.
- Coordinate with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers or drop trailers as needed (both Ground and Expedited).
- Manage reporting to verify all e-commerce orders have been fulfilled on time.
- Research and resolve any errors or issues delaying order fulfillment.
- Answer inquiries from the Customer Support team regarding customer orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain excellent interdepartmental communication.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of logistics experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP and WMS systems, FedEx/UPS software.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision and in a team environment.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
