The successful candidate will be tasked with updating container and trailer statuses, handling air shipments, and scheduling Hazmat/Reefer containers. The role also involves managing unloading and transloading processes, ensuring that air shipment receipts are accurately recorded, and maintaining a detailed file for air shipment receiving proof for customers. The candidate will be expected to schedule Hazmat and Reefer containers with designated drivers, ensuring that these schedules are prepared at least one week in advance. The role also includes tracking the status of newly inbound trailers and managing the return of empty trailers, with a focus on minimizing detention fees. Secondary duties include keeping track of weekend schedules, reporting damage cases, and managing the container chassis repair report. Continuous monitoring of systems and GPS statuses is essential, as is the ability to maintain a significant number of empty trailers and containers on a daily basis.
