About the position

The Senior Manager of Logistics/SCM is responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process within a medical appliances manufacturing company. This role involves liaising with warehouses and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods, maintaining accurate records, and managing customer relations. The position requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with warehouses and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics operations and provide regular reports to management.
• Process order entries and ensure timely delivery using various carriers.
• Monitor the delivery of orders to customers and ensure that shipments remain on schedule.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Oversee inventory control and contract review/update/negotiations.
• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
• Resolve issues and proactively set up new processes or execute process improvements.
• Maintain and implement logistics/SCM systems.
• Manage the team, evaluate team members' performance, and execute improvement plans.
• Manage customer (end-user) relations issues and follow up with resellers, promoting, status checks, and follow-ups.
• Manage service center operations and perform ad-hoc responsibilities as required by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or a business-related field preferred.
• Experience in shipping, trucking, delivery, ocean/in-land trucking, and handling third-party logistics companies.
• 6+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Bilingual in Korean highly preferred.
