About the position

The Logistics Section Positions at Chloeta are integral to disaster response efforts, fulfilling various roles such as Supply Unit Leader, Food Unit Leader, and Medical Unit Leader. These positions involve field deployment for up to thirty days in potentially austere environments, focusing on managing logistics related to facilities, transportation, supplies, and medical services. The role requires collaboration with the Incident Commander and other leaders to ensure timely and effective logistical support during incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facilities, transportation, communications, supplies, equipment maintenance, and fueling.
  • Provide logistical input to the Incident Action Plan (IAP).
  • Advise the Incident Commander on logistics planning and operations.
  • Oversee the ordering, receipt, storage, transport, and onward movement of goods, services, and personnel.
  • Adapt to changing duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in field deployments of incidents/disasters.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS).
  • Completion of ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800 training.
