About the position

As a Logistics Specialist I at ARDEX Americas, you will manage the company's transportation needs, including shipments, interplant transfers, and raw materials. This full-time role is based at the corporate campus near Pittsburgh, PA, and offers a serene work environment with free parking. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations while maintaining high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform confirmation and shipping set up for all accounts based on customer delivery requirements.
• Dispatch trucks for appropriate distribution and Regional Distribution Center (RDC) retail orders.
• Perform shipping and Inter-Branch Transfers (IBT) processes in a timely manner.
• Issue weekly production schedules and monitor daily for needed adjustments that optimize inventory levels while serving customer needs.
• Conduct master file data maintenance as directed such as pallet quantity, UPC's, Safety Stocks, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook email.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High emphasis on customer service/customer driven.
• Good organizational and listening skills.
• Accountability, dependability, responsiveness, and quality are essential.

Nice-to-haves
