About the position

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating supply activities for assigned international product codes, ensuring that customer service targets are met and supporting special requests from internal departments and third-party customers. This role involves preparing and processing international orders, monitoring order statuses, and managing documentation and distribution of export samples for biological and pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply activities for assigned international product codes from forecasting to final distribution.
• Prepare and process international orders through interdepartmental routings including Materials Management.
• Monitor status of orders in the system to ensure timely shipment through communication with internal departments.
• Direct and coordinate the documentation, packaging, and distribution of all Export QA Testing samples for Biological and Pharmaceutical products.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience or Associates degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• List computer knowledge.
• Prefer experience in the transportation of dangerous goods under appropriate national and international regulatory bodies.
• Produce a Dangerous Goods Declaration for export shipments as needed.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the logistics industry and export compliance framework.
• Prefer work experience in Pharmaceutical/Biological manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of office and Warehouse facility requirements.
