About the position

SAIC is seeking a Logistician to support the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) program for the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pac) in San Diego, CA. This role involves providing logistics support, including warehousing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and procurement, in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules.
• Coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
• Execute material expediting functions to meet delivery schedules.
• Generate and coordinate shipments while verifying the accuracy of shipping documentation.
• Use logistics software systems to cross-reference manufacturer part numbers to National Stock Numbers (NSN).
• Identify and work with vendors/distributors for parts procurement.
• Initiate purchase requests for material or services.
• Track ordered material and provide estimated delivery dates.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Six (6) years or more of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Teams.
• Experience conducting inventory audits and warehousing material.
• Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP).
• Active Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Navy MILSTRIP logistics processes and procedures.
• Experience working in a Performance-Based Logistics Organization (PBLO) environment.
