About the position

The Logistics/Team Member position at Roundy's involves performing various functions within a distribution center, focusing on the efficient flow of merchandise. Responsibilities

• Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load outbound products onto trailers while monitoring product accuracy and quality.
• Assist in the efficient flow of merchandise in and out of the distribution center.
• Verify and keep records on incoming shipments and route them to processing areas.
• Select orders according to preferred methods.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate hand trucks, hand and power pallet jacks, and power lift equipment (training provided).
• Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines.
• Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work through problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environments for long periods of time.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write short correspondence.

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of distribution center experience.
