About the position

The Logistics Technical Writer, Analyst III will support the Utility Helicopter Program Office (UHPO) by analyzing, developing, creating, and updating XML for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and other technical publications. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with military standards and specifications while producing high-quality technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, create, and update XML for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and page-based technical publications.
• Conduct research and analysis of provided source data and interpret it into usable XML for UH-60 technical publications.
• Ensure that technical publications comply with required specifications and military standards.
• Collaborate with equipment specialists, illustrators, engineers, customers, and team members to produce UH-60 IETMs.
• Convert source data from various formats (SGML, Word Documents, PDFs) to XML.
• Provide quality, accurate, and timely XML electronic data integration and analysis.
• Utilize configuration management software and comply with configuration management processes to maintain historical documentation.
• Perform peer reviews, tabletop reviews, validations, and verifications.
• Actively participate in all meetings.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Associate's Degree
• 1 year of related experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with Arbortext Editor, IADS, and UltraEdit software
