Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and clean all equipment associated with packaging operations.
• Package finished products according to work instructions.
• Obtain required samples of finished products for laboratory testing during packaging operations.
• Receive raw materials, packaging, and other supplies as per work instructions.
• Stage, prepare, and load products for distribution.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow all safety and cGMP rules and regulations.
• Perform assigned duties routinely and during plant emergencies.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials to prevent pollution and adhere to safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including climbing stairs, standing, stooping, and bending.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Completion of the Material Handler Training Checklist.
