About The Position

The Logistics/Warehouse Clerk at Defense Technology Equipment Inc. is responsible for performing routine warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate warehouse equipment under general supervision, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assists in loading and unloading of material.
• Receives material in the system as directed.
• Inspects condition, quality, and quantity of materials according to established procedures.
• Takes pictures of material for quality and inspection control.
• Maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
• Conducts movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Tags items with Bin locations.
• Maintains an accurate inventory list and inventory control for stock levels.
• Conducts cycle counts and reports variances and adjustments to inventory location.
• Reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders to determine shipping priorities and methods.
• Compiles records of unfilled orders.
• Picks, packs, and labels boxes in preparation for shipping.
• Provides inspection activity for product throughout the shipping cycle.
• Verifies proper licensing and documentation for each shipment.
• Ensures all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and are ITAR compliant.
• Posts weight and shipping charges.
• Prepares, reviews, and issues bills of lading and SLI documents and invoices.
• Maximizes workspace to accommodate boxes, containers, and skids.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Ensures safety adherence of personnel and warehouse work area.
• Operates a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
