We are a fast-growing company seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong mindset and a proven track record in supply chain management. This position is responsible for leading strategic initiatives across the supply chain and the organization to drive change and improvements. The successful candidate will manage all supply chain initiatives, ensuring that vendor partners meet all project and quality specifications both domestically and internationally. In this role, you will oversee all warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflows, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout. You will also be responsible for all processes related to planning, purchasing, inventory, and quality assurance initiatives. Managing distribution objectives is a key part of this role, which includes training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees. You will communicate job expectations, monitor planning, appraise performance, and review job contributions, as well as plan and review compensation actions while enforcing policies and procedures. Continuous improvement is essential, and you will deploy efforts to enhance distribution and transportation initiatives, as well as inventory controls. The ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously is crucial. You will be accountable for developing and managing supplier relationships with vendors and will participate in sourcing initiatives and supplier reviews. Additionally, you will direct overall third-party manufacturing operations, engineering, and quality initiatives on a global level. Achieving operational objectives in warehouse operations will involve contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. You will also resolve problems, complete audits, and identify trends. Developing warehouse operations systems will require determining product handling and storage requirements, enforcing and evaluating policies and procedures, and developing processes for receiving products, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Negotiating contracts with third-party vendors as needed will also be part of your responsibilities.
