About the position

The Logistics/Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of receiving, selection, and loading of products within the warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining productivity levels among hourly team members and ensuring that all operations align with the company's core values, which include respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The supervisor will act as a role model, demonstrating these values in all interactions and decisions made within the warehouse environment. In this position, the supervisor will communicate regularly with fellow supervisors and the manager regarding daily operational activities. They will be tasked with managing safety and sanitation protocols across all areas of the warehouse, ensuring that all team members adhere to these standards. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for planning production and staffing needs on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis, working collaboratively with other departments to maximize productivity and performance. The supervisor will also monitor order accuracy requirements and expectations, conducting meetings with hourly associates to discuss performance and address any issues. They will oversee personnel records for all associates, assist in developing and training hourly staff, and generate productivity reports that account for labor standards and budget adherence. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the supervisor will coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of receiving, selection, and loading of products.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • High School diploma or greater (degree preferred).
  • Two or more years of leadership experience.
  • Highly motivated and energetic with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical skills to report and recommend solutions to challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, particularly MS Word and Excel.
