About the position

The Logistics Weapon System Propulsion Engine Management Support role at Sumaria Systems LLC involves providing lifecycle sustainment logistics support for weapon system propulsion engine management, specifically for MQ-9 systems. The position requires collaboration with the government to develop and evaluate Integrated Logistics Support Plans, manage engine-related spares, and ensure operational readiness of systems. The candidate will also analyze data, support documentation processes, and assist in the development of engine life cycle management plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide life cycle sustainment logistics support for MQ-9 weapon system propulsion engine management.
  • Assist in developing and evaluating Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) for operational systems.
  • Coordinate with the Government on engine-related weapon mission kits for production and sustainment.
  • Evaluate recommended engine-related test and systems engineering for logistics support.
  • Identify maintenance and equipment manuals required for operational systems.
  • Analyze field consumption data and failure trends for statistical forecasting analysis.
  • Support the development and validation of documentation for automated logistics or maintenance data report systems.
  • Perform logistical processes for QA reviews of technical orders to meet DoD standards.
  • Provide hands-on assistance for engine-related logistics considerations for new weapons capabilities on UASs.
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions for engine acquisition and sustainment functions.
  • Assist in producing business case analyses and acquisition strategies for planned acquisitions.
  • Provide advisory assistance in the preparation of program briefings and execution reports.
  • Analyze program support strategies for compliance with current policies and guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in weapon system engine propulsion system acquisition and/or sustainment logistics activities.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with the US Air Force Comprehensive Engine Management System.
  • Demonstrated knowledge as a base level and/or command level engine manager.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MQ-9 systems and related logistics support activities.
  • Knowledge of configuration control processes and depot maintenance requirements.
