About the position

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order. The role involves analyzing complex datasets to extract insights that drive decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support mission-critical objectives. The Data Analyst will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and mission partners to ensure accurate data insights aligned with their goals, contributing to the JADC2 strategy for enhanced ISR operations and logistics support.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Work with data engineering teams to establish and maintain data pipelines for timely data availability.
• Maintain databases, data warehouses, and data integration systems to support seamless data access and analysis.
• Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses on mission-critical datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Analyze operational and performance data to support mission objectives and highlight potential inefficiencies.
• Design and generate detailed reports and dashboards to convey data insights to stakeholders.
• Use data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create interactive visualizations that support decision-making.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes, tools, and techniques.
• Lead initiatives to improve data accessibility, usability, and analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 1 year relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma and 7 years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in data analytics with a focus on supporting federal government or DoD projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills, with experience in applying quantitative methods to real-world challenges.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Certifications in data analytics, data science, or related areas.
• Experience with DoD data management platforms and tools.
• Prior experience supporting a multi-tenant, AAS Federal contract.
