About the position

The QC Analyst position within the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program involves supporting the Ombudsman team by managing communication, data entry, and documentation related to complaints and assessments in long-term care facilities. The role is crucial for ensuring the quality of care and compliance within these facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and maintain a detailed phone log.
  • Enter complaint, case, and assessment information into a web-based documentation system.
  • Track incoming reports and information such as Adult Protective Services reports, nursing home discharges, and transfers.
  • Assist the District Ombudsman Manager (DOM) in preparing for and arranging monthly ombudsman district council meetings.
  • Conduct on-site assessments of facilities.
