About the position

The position involves providing nursing care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Williamstown, MA. The role requires the utilization of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring compliance with professional standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interviews to identify specific needs of patients.
• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychological changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from healthcare team members and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and facility policies.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
