About the position

The Long-Term Elementary Substitute Teacher at Larchmont Charter School is responsible for developing and implementing a standards-based curriculum that employs constructivist instructional methods tailored to the appropriate subject matter and grade level. • Communicate and partner effectively with parents to support student learning.
• Evaluate student learning and adapt teaching methods based on evaluation data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
• TB Test clearance & DOJ fingerprinting clearance
• 3+ years of successful teaching experience with a track record of advancing student achievement
• Familiarity with the new CA Common Core State Standards
• Enthusiasm for curriculum development to support a young and growing school program.
