Responsibilities

• Provide academic, social, and emotional services for students requiring additional support.
• Utilize SESI's instructional models, strategies, and curriculum effectively.
• Conduct assessments and use data to develop and implement instructional plans.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to drive student outcomes.
• Teach knowledge and skills while nurturing confidence and character in students.
• Provide individualized attention to meet the needs of all students.
• Modify lesson plans based on assessment data to promote academic performance.
• Develop and maintain skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor in collaboration with team members.
• Implement behavior support and intervention strategies as needed.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary.
• Track student growth and progress toward goals, maintaining required documentation.
• Participate in daily school functions and attend conferences, meetings, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Valid teaching certification preferred.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
